If you logged into the Delta website before checking the fares, it sounds to me like you forgot to turn off the "upgrade fares only" switch. Delta sets that switch on for logged in Medallions and you must turn it off to see L, U, and T fares. I see L, U, and T fares all the time when I remember to turn off the switch.
