how VERY kind of you - and lucky for US! we've spend a coupe of half days in lyon but never long enough to Savour the Flavour. thanks for the tip; shall check into it!

It will encompass all levels of Lyon gastronomy right up to one with a toque. Of the two places that are firmly scheduled, Villa Florentine is famous and may price out above what you care to spend. The other is Le Nord, which is more casual, and you can learn a lot about that place on the thread.

Also, as you probably well know, you will have trouble going wrong if you just wander into any bouchon that strikes your fancy. I have tried a few of them and do not remember their names, only vaguely where they were located in Vieux Lyon.

Have a good trip and maybe we will bump into you along the way.
