I know the company that I work for requires this in some instances. However, I'll draw the line in the sand there. My take on business travel is that, while a portion of my job, it is still a hardship on the traveler and his/her family. Therefore, I EXPECT some level of comfort and sharing a hotel room with a colleague crosses the line. (Unless she's really hot! )
