I recently got to sample Continental on a trip to Texas (had to fly RDU to San Antonio and return from Austin - US/HP wanted $650 to take me via Phoenix or Chicago (on United) whereas CO was pricing at $350 via Houston. I got CO to comp me to Platinum and successfully upgraded to F. 6:30 AM flight out of RDU to Houston (2 hrs & 45 minutes). Hot towels, china and metal utensils, full hot breakfast (omelet, home fries, fruit, and croissant). Nice product. Now if CO just had a decent mileage earning and redemption program I might be tempted more . . .
