Shibuya Hotels and Q About Men Sharing a Double Room

Can anyone comment on any of the hotels in Shibuya? I've been to Japan many times and usually stay in either the Asia Center Japan or one of the big hotels with a special rate (New Otani, Roppongi Prince, etc.) I actually used to live in the Omotesando area but never noticed any hotels in Shibuya. I am seeing pretty good deals on the Shibuya Tobu Hotel but I don't see any reviews on Tripadvisor. Some of the Tokyu places look fine as well but the Cerulean tower is a bit out of my price range (trying to keep it to 20,000 yen or under).

Also, this will be my first trip to Japan with my partner and am curious if the we might have any problems as two men trying to share a room with a double or queen bed. I know the love hotels in Shibuya used to have strict male-female only policies but I would not expect to encounter any trouble at a business or tourist place. Does anyone think I might encounter a problem at checkin?
