Also, AA has the JFK-MAD fare for $1818+tax, but looks like you have to route via MIA on AA metal. Still, you save $400 and get the extra miles...
Found 1899.96 on expedia(wit the $5 service fee).LGA-MIA-MAD-MIA-JFK, random dates in july.$1688 base fare + taxes.At first it shows as $2200+ but then if you select by flight and use the connection in MIA there it comes.Not bad for over 16k EQM.I wish I could afford that...
