The prices on the Q-UP's have been steadily creeping up recently. In some markets in which I fly the Q-UP's are a lot closer to 50% of the price of a full F ticket.
Also, many Q-UP's are refundable. If the last letter is "N" that means it's non-refundable (i.e. QUAUPN). If there's no "N", it is generally refundable even if it's a Q-UP rather than a Y-UP.
