Saw the Allegheny Airlines Livery at PIT parked in the B concourse at Gate 38 yesterday afternoon. Not too impressed as the original Allegheny livery was pretty basic and this version watered it down even more. Unlike the PSA livery this is barely noticable. Definitely give credit to US for doing this though. very cool idea. Some of my first flights ever were on Allegheny in the 70's. This is probably the first Allegheny logo seen at PIT since, I guess, the early 80's. Anyone interested in seeing a USAIR heritage livery from the 80's?? I didn't think so.
