We were there last week and the same thing happened. It was around 7:30AM and the jackhammer at the site next door could be heard. We were on the 23rd floor. We could also hear water running when people were taking a shower and there was a septic smell whenever we let the water drain in the bathtub.
The security is quite liberally when it comes to accessing the pool. Despite the sign that says that only hotel guests are allowed to use it, nobody was checking unlike in neighbouring hotels like the Mirage.
Other than that, service was great at the Aladdin, except for the Spice Market morning breakfast one day.
