If one is interested in MAD (and others, FCO, CDG same price from what I see) JFK-MAD is
$2204.00 r/t in -I- on Iberia. 7-day advance purchase and a much more comfy seat for the same $$.
And, the great fares from LAX as well,
$2330.00 r/t to MAD.
