just to answer my own question, Im in the UA First class lounge now in Hong Kong (on the lone internet terminal).....entered with a first class TG ticket...no problems at all (they know the Star Alliance rules).....

medium-sized very nicely and warmly decorated...two nice shower rooms....very cool Carlsberg beer machine....surprisingly good steak and OK sushi....(the food is better than the next door UA biz lounge, but I like the size of the biz lounge better)

very nice view of the planes.....

overall a good alternative to the TG first lounge in HK but I miss the massage chairs in the TG lounge... will wander over there soon.
