It's geared toward the commuter. If where you want to go from Century City is along commuting paths, it can be ok. If it's not, it's near useless. For example, to get from Century City to LAX by public transportation, you have to either go all the way downtown to transfer to the Green Line back out to the airport, or you have to change somewhere from L A buses to either Culver City or Santa Monica buses
Not that I've ever taken a bus in LA, but wouldn't it be easier to take the bus west on Olympic to Sepulveda, then take a southbound bus to the airport? I certainly see plenty of buses and bus stops on this route.
