Here is the scenario:
I have a flight from HKG-BKK arriving at 12am. I will leave from BKK-SIN at 7.30am on the same day. Here's a list of options to spend my time. I don't know if any are feasible and would like your help:
1. Find a lounge / hotel within the airport and stay there till checkin time. Are there some available?
2. Leave my luggage at the airport and venture out for something to eat. Are there lockers available? Any recommendations on where to go? I will be arriving on a Tuesday.
3. Get a room near the airport and stay there until check in time. Does the airport open 24 hours? Are there any good hotels near the airport?
Any other recommendations are welcomed.
If you want a few hours sleep and do not have access to a lounge (I think airlines lounges close but the pay as you go in lounge are open) I would go out and either use the Amari (very expensive at over 8.000 baht) as it is walkable and ensures you can keep your bags with you and have the most sleep time or use one f the hotels around the airport whhich will mean a 10 minutes drive to and from. The hotels have mini vans to drive you but only leave at set times which will 'eat' into your sleep time.
If you can afford it go for the Amari. If not I would recommend the Quality Suites (Max 2.000 baht per night)
