Have you tried pricing the tickets through Orbits.com? This sight has been good to me for multi-stop itins. Also Orbits uses ITAsoftware as the workflow engine, sop anything on ITA is available through Orbits.
Another good sight for ITA type of things is kayak.com.
$700 all in for the destination and times you quoted is fairly good deal. Consider:
- Except for a daily summertime F9 flight, No LCC flies to ANC. Airfares are known to be high out of this city.
- Flight distances using SEA as a transfer point from ANC-YYZ is 5600 miles. This yields about 12.5 cents per mile, failry decent considering INS Fees will make up about $100 of the fare.
- You are also traveling through YYZ, try BUF if the 5 pax are willing to make the journey.
- I don't think SEA over YVR will work for you as the car rentals will charge a drop fee.
The weekend is July 4th, busy for both Canada and USA flights.
