Really? I can't count how many times I've asked for one and they've all been taken.
I can never get comfortable with those scrawny, bulk-less airline pillows, either. I haven't resorted to bringing my own pillow yet, but I understand why some others do.
And airline pillows don't help during layovers, unless you steal it and take it with you off the plane...
