You should call 1K desk and they will credit your account. The new policy is no charge for 1K's.
Oh it's already in the process of being recredited, I don't tend to review my account for airline charges as I make alot of them, but this happened to stand out because of the round number. It's more just a heads up for people to make sure they don't see a surprise donation made on their behalf to United Airlines out of their account
