There clearly was colusion between all of the airlines, as the price was identical on every airline.... except LTU, which had a pricing policy that the dog is simply part of your regular allowance, and anything over I think 20 kilos, would cost 14 Euros per kilo... Plus if you join their club, for 30 Euros, they give you an extra 10 kilos allowance... both of us did this. It meant we had to take a train from Paris to Dusseldorf, I think 4 hours. We did that, and the LTU one way fare was quite reasonable, I think 300 Euros one way Dusseldorf to Bangkok at the time.
