We need to think outside of the box here and come up with a lose-lose-lose-lose situation.

How about this:

We turn Love Field into Love Air Force Base. Fly them noisy old military jets in and out of there 24x7, and they will be crying to have the MP tossed and commercial aviation return.

While you're at it, DFW has to give WN terminal space and landing fees indefinitely at the same rates they were getting at Love Field.

1) The whiny Love Field "neighborhood" groups lose.

2) WN loses.

3) And actually AA loses, because I personally believe that if WN moves to DFW they will make it work and fares at DFW will go down.

4) DFW loses as they have to cut WN a nice little financial deal that eventually will force them to reduce rates for other carriers.

OK, too late for April 1st, but I can dream.......!

Edit: From a google search, there are hints that it would actually be turning Love Field BACK into Love Air Force Base.
