I could not agree more. I find the 763 C cabin to be delightful. I do not find the 1.5 inches to be an issue. I would rather take C on the 763 as opposed to C on the 772 any day. When UA used to run multiple JFK-LHR flights (ahhh the good ol' days) I would go out of my way to fly the 763 because I much prefer it over the 772. I really am boggled as to why people seem to so prefer C on the 772.
