I meant no standby allowed if you have a discount ticket (which he would have bought if he made reserv. with WN 21 days out). Of course, one can try the flat tire rule if you arrive 1-2 hrs. later than original flight.

curb,, don't you agree it would have been better to try standby on AA for free or the $25?? Or do you think him wise to buy the full fare on WN??
