About two weeks ago I flew LH FRA-Lagos-Accra on a neat A330-300. It had the new on-board satellite internet wireless, but only for the first half of the six-hour flight to LOS.

I was too tired to use it as I had done IAD-FRA the night before, but the German fellow across the aisle from me did. Wow. We're flying over the Sahara Desert almost dead south towards Lagos, beneath us is nothing but sand, and the guy is checking out e-Bay.
