Planning the next 241 trip and have agreed with wife (well strongly suggested to her really!) that we should go to Whistler next year. Also seems an efficient use of miles. So my first question is: which of the 2 daily flights are better in F? Want to take the earlier one of maximise time but is there any difference in aircraft/seating?

Also she is not so much of a snow freak as me and she has some relatives in Chicago. So whilst getting outbound flights to YVR and inbound from ORD should not be a problem, what is the cheapest/easiest way to get between the 2? I realise that I won't be able to do it on the 241 so want to get there reasonably directly but not at too high a cost (especially since I will already be stung for £268 of taxes - ouch!). The routes I've checked all seem a bit convoluted due to haveing to go from Canada-US...

Also original quote when I phoned up was for taxes & fees of £298 ie. including the offline charge, which the agent did not seem to realise now has been waived. Should I just ring back another agent or tell her that the charges are no longer required? Maybe not all are aware of this yet?
