It will most likely take several months before the code share becomes operational - a whole heaps of logistics to deal with.

I used to fly SYD WLG SYD in the early 90s when QF code shared with NZ & QG vitually flew that sector 100% of the time. Not sure I would want to do it on those clapped out 733 of QFs.
