This is a serious problem at MCO too. I once plugged mine into the wall and got scathing rebuke from two guys who were watching a video, who had their plug resting on a paperback novel to hold it in place, and not only lost their connection but couldn't figure out where to start the DVD again.

The solution is to pinch the plugs so that they angle toward each other markedly. Then when you wiggle/jam the bent plugs into the outlet they will hold. The pinched plugs will stay that way over time, but it is never a problem, only a benefit if the situation comes up again.
