I'd say a poll here would show the opposite.Your statement may be based on what I think Delta is counting on,most elites don't have the overall knowledge of Delta's program that a FT'er does.
That said, Delta has had to make some tough business decisions.Many of us can disagree with their decisions, I suspect they really don't care.
To get back on the subject of this thread,Delta's terrible Y (IMHO) product NOW becomes a major negative to elite's staying with Delta.

This board is in no way an accurate representation of the opinion of Delta Medallions. There are less than 100 hardcore complainers here with probably a dozen posters (Spiff, Mikey et al) doing 90% of the whining.
95% of Delta business travelers are truly business people who understand business. They are not angry at Delta. They understand that business conditions change, sometimes very quickly, and businesses must make adjustments.
