I flew DTW-YUL on NW last Sunday and the FA ended up upgrading the whole plane to FC -- all 5 pax who were coach (I was initially alone in FC). So if you are on the Sunday monrning flight, I'd say you are at least guaranteed of having alot of space on the flight and might get lucky with an upgrade to FC.
