Nowadays, IIRC, Manuela Tienda Leon is around 25 pesos to San Martin. From there to Buquebus or Recoleta a cab would be less than 6 or 10 pesos. The bus may mean waiting 15 minutes, but it's not a bad option and could be one that a solo traveller would prefer if they like interacting with locals and other solo travellers.
A taxi costs around 40-65 pesos depending on where you are going.
Personally, I'd recommend a taxi or the Manuel Tienda Leon bus + taxi over a remise.
I took the Manuela Tienda Leon bus to San Martin 5 times and I enjoyed it very much. Sometimes it was like a Greyhound coach and sometimes about 1 third that size. But I liked the experience and reliability. It was mostly on time.
I also took a remise once, and it was good, too. I learned some useful and critical Spanish words from Jorge, my driver, that I still remember. But the bus was about US$6 and the remise was US$17.
