I've found there is no logic whatsoever to what security thinks is an issue, or needs to check out in depth. We're building a new house, and fly with "stuff" for the house alot. Last month, the item that caused the delay (had to look at the box, open the box, try to figure out what it was in the box...) were the brackets for mounting the towel racks etc in the bathroom. Yes they were shaped a bit oddly, and were metal, but come on...At the same time, they ignored the automatic timer that I thought would possibly cause all the problem. Short answer, try to pack it so it doesn't get broken.
