Beginning April 3, 2006, all Hyatt Hotels & Resorts worldwide will guarantee the bed type requested at the time of reservation exclusively for Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum and Diamond members. If the hotel is unable to honor the requested bed type at the time of check-in, the member will receive 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points.

In addition, all Hyatt guests worldwide will be guaranteed a non-smoking room if requested at time of reservation. If a hotel is unable to honor the non-smoking room request at the time of check-in, the guest will receive 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points or a USD$100 Hyatt Gift Card. Outside the U.S. and Caribbean, guests can choose 5,000 bonus points or a USD$100 food and beverage credit.
