I booked it on the Qantas NZ web site as a red e-deal, and it had a Qantas flight # and plane markings, though it's operated as some type of subsidiary within New Zealand as "Jet Connect". The QF agent told me that they don't give miles on these, but I had her input my card and was able to get 1,000 miles for each of 3 different flights. I also used the Qantas lounges.
