I thought that the government was "expediting" the whole decision making process so they could hurry and get this service going again. Now that DL was awarded this service they are saying they will begin sometime in early 2003. No particular date and certainly not a quick start, especially when they have so many planes sitting around idle, at their disposal to begin this service immediately.

I agree that DL certainly offered the most opportunities in terms of connections for this new service, but other carriers were promising to start the service within a few weeks of notification. What's up?
