Over on the Delta forum, they report that seats 7E/F are the only attractive first class seats, with noticably more legroom and better recline, too. These are used as crew rest seats on longer flights, but can be booked between Hawaii and the west coast. I will try them later this week for the first time - from what I hear, they are the best F seats you can get on either Delta or Northwest between HNL and the west coast. So if you can verify that 7E/F are available, maybe that would be a good choice.
