- taking off my sneakers
- disposing of my lighter
- showing my boarding pass (we all know terrorists never buy airline tickets, they just sneak on board the plane)
- showing my photo ID (we all know terrorists' photo ID has "TERRORIST" stamped on it)
- showing my boarding pass again to make sure the ID checker has stamped the secret code "38" on it
- explaining to the idiot in MSP why my boarding pass doesn't have the red NW logo on it (I checked in at a LAS kiosk with a four hour MSP connection, went outside for a smoke, and the LAS kiosks don't print color)
- going through security at all in EKO for a B1900 flight to ELY and VGT, which is really funny since neither ELY nor VGT have a security checkpoint
- similar to the previous point, going through security in FMN for a B1900 flight to ABQ where you get dropped off outside the secure area, even though the flight in the other direction from ABQ to FMN has no security checkpoint
- removing my belt at the insistence of TSA Officer Idiot because the last two people to go through the metal detector had to take their belts off because they were too large to escape metal detection (despite the fact that I've worn this same belt through a metal detector many, many times and it never went off)
- continuing the previous point, elevating TSA screeners to "officers" is knee-slappin' funny
Glad to see someone with a sense of humor
