. And, anyway, I can't imagine any rental company would allow us to get our hands on their cars having passed a test just a month or two before.
Believe it or not, we're both REALLY happy to not drive. I love the conversations we have with people on trains and buses when we go on holidays. (Anyway, the UK average cost of lessons is £22, average number required is 45 making £990 or $1,975 CAD plus all the test costs... it's not exactly an economical option, and without a car, I'd forget everything in no time!)
