That's the strategy I adopt when I'm in Raleigh a few times a year on 2- night stays. Arriving from the west, I spend the first night at the Durham (actually it should be an RDU-airport location since it's between Durham and Raleigh) and the second night in Raleigh.

Looks like the Westin's been delayed even further. Anyone know a reliable open date?
