There's quite a bit of it on the EDI flights as well. Last incident was a very important chap who was talking on his mobile and flatly refused to turn it off even though we were turning onto the runway. It was obviously such an important call - but in the end the cabin crew had to almost forceably take it from him. ((He was probably calling his wife and telling here he'd be 30 seconds late and could he have tarragon sauce with his chicken)).

I occasionally recline my seat on UK DOm - but never all the way. If someone kicked up a huge stink rather than politely asking - I'd probably stay reclined just to teach them a lession. Polite works with me. Aggression doesn't.
