A few months ago MEM, We waited for the GA to announce elite boarding, it never came so we just waited for our row to be called. When we passed by the scanner, I politely inquired why elites to board was not annonced. The GA looked at me a said, "Your an elite, you know you can board anytime you want." The response from the GA was kind of sharp. I replied that I never attempt to board without permission.
