I echo those comments about good experiences at PHL. I was there yesterday at the same time waiting to volunteer to get off of NW 1783 to DTW. I thought that GA Barbara did a fantastic job of listening to all of the whiners who expected standby seats to clear on an obviously oversold flight.
As the old saying goes, you get more flies with honey. In addition to the travel voucher, she gave me additional amenity coupons for being patient while she finalized the flight. She was efficient and courteous to every passenger she encountered. ^
