I have a reservation in May to and from BKK from NRT and both flights show a 767 seat map but show a 777 aircraft type. NH reservation told me they both will be 3 class ER with the 2 F rows blocked for C class normal fares (not available to biziwari fares) or to diamonds at check-in
I'm flying BKK-NRT in D class and NRT-SFO in A (First, discounted). I guess I could check in early, and ask nicely that since I'm flying in paid F (fare basis "FRT"), could they please make an exception. The worst thing they can do is say no, which is what I expect.
Thanks for the help!

Just picked up their new timetable at the BKK CTO, and see that the 953/954 is listed as "772", but with an *: "Airline may substitute 744, 773, or 763 as needed". Is there any chance they'll have the 744 on this route?? That would be nice to see again!
Also interesting--the timetable doesn't show a seatmap at all for the 772 (old style, 2-class). Are they getting rid of all them or refurbishing them so quickly?
