On a related note, I have 3 PMUs left for this year and am flying JFK-CDG tonight. What are the chances that a sympathetic GA will let me upgrade both my traveling companions with PMUs? According to the rules, only one can be upgraded with a PMU. I'd hate to use 20K miles and throw away the last certificate! (L fare on the return so no upgrade opportunity there

Sorry, no same-day upgrades... that would put too much of a crimp in the plans of the non-revs waiting to get on your flight!
