This was their "official" response to an inquiry I made about 1.5 months ago:

For future reference and when available, our pre-boarding process
boards
customers in the following order.

1. Customers needing extra assistance.
2. Customers holding confirmed seating in the First or World Business
Class cabin.
3. WorldPerks Elite, SkyTeam Elite, ElitePlus and those passengers
seated in the emergency exit rows. We may defer pre-boarding of Elite
passengers if:

- There are more than 25 Elites in coach on RJ's
- There are more than 40 Elites on a DC9/A319/A320
- There are more than 60 Elites on a 757/A330/D10/747

Please understand that there may be exceptions when we are pre-boarding
a wide-body aircraft using both doors or a wide-body aircraft through
door number two. We are sorry if we failed to accommodate you in this
instance. Your comments have been shared with the responsible
management staff.
If your flight was 2 hours late, chances are that the GA's were just as strained as the pax. Chill out, stiffle yourself, and complain later in writing.
