I have found booking most discounted rates on the web also don't automatically register. In notify the PC club they automatically replies saving that the rate was heavily discounted and not eligible. The response is always that teh flex rate was XX the discount rate was YY and YY is not a discount of more than 30% so bytheir terms and conditions should be eligible.

Points are then award - and sometimes (especially when refer back to previous cases - keep teh incident numbers) bonus points given.

It seems that the 'not-eligible response' is teh standard response to requests for any discounted stays
