If Business Traveller is still as I remember it from my misguided days of actually reading the thing, I would think that it would make better use as something to wrap the cat's discarded dinner in than as a help to the Business Traveller.

As everyone seemed to be flying at someone airline's expense and as the magazine was stuffed with advertising from the same organisations the critiques had all the objectivity of a North Korean TV documentary. The editors et alles seemed like the rest of the Travel Papers to be spongers par excellence, their ability to cadge matched only by their conduct on board the aircraft. DYKWIA was invented by these people.

This is basically to say that it is entirely possible that when the reporter arrived he was not given the top seat or told that his concubine would not be eligible for a comp'd Gold Card. Now you will say "O Pucci, have you read this and the answer will be "NO" but it is a wonderful excuse to slag a rag that is as relevant as the Dodo. Put it this way I have learned more about travel from your perspective from you who fly it, pay for it, and are in the main good at constructive critisism. There is no travel product that has not be tried and tested on Flyertalk and even if I could not use it for wrapping my rubbish it can be switched off when it is time to go back to the Wonderful World of Work. Anyhow I am much jetlagged and am off to the hairdresser as I have to look beautiful for tomorrow.
