Sorry about that, couldn't believe I was so blind and not see the booking class in such big bold letters. I am so used to having to look at small fine print or clicking on some link to find the booking class that when it was written so clearly I just couldn't find it. Yes I guess NW can earn miles but I still find it difficult to believe that Enrich members can't earn even with an 1800 fare (booking classs: Y - which if I am right is full fare economy, am I?)
