AC has adopted a business model built upon a simple and transparent fare structure in which the cheapest fare is available until the cabin door closes...
So I guess everywhere in Air Canada's fare rules where it says
RES/TKTG
RES MUST BE MADE NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE DPTR FROM ORIGIN. TKT MUST BE PURCHASED NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS BEFORE DPTR FROM ORIGIN OR 1 DAY AFTER RES IS MADE, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST. SGMTS USING THIS RULE MUST MEET ADV TKTG. SGMTS USING THIS RULE MUST BE CONFIRMED.
they're lying?

This guy's just been sucked in by AC's spin that there are only 5 fares on any given domestic route, when in fact there are 5 fare "categories" each of which may have a dozen or more individual fares. And a big chunk of those fares are NOT "available until the cabin door closes."
