Normally, minor citations are allowed without the express permission of the property owner as long as reference to the source is provided.
I agree with exAC, you cited the article improperly and violated FT's policy on quoting articles.
Oh well, not that I haven't been found guilty before of similiar transgressions from those in living in higher alitudes.
