Stayed there for 4 nights in the middle of March. Was not impressed with the property and the service! Rooms are nice but definitely not great. Furniture looked like it had been thrown together and included both the old floral style Marriott decor and some more modern furnishings. Bathroom was IMHO the best part of the room with a nice large corner shower and a seperate tub. I can't understand that they would build a hotel like this in Florida and only make the balcony approx. 2 feet wide. You could stand on the balcony and enjoy the view and weather but that was about it. No furniture would fit on it.
I just got back from a 2 night stay at the Tampa Renaissance International Plaza and I actually thought the service was better there. The Tampa staff went out of their way to make guest feel comfortable. Rooms where decorated nicely and they actually looked like they had been done by designer.
