AC's "simplification" just adds an extra complication layer on top of everybody's complex fare structure. Obfuscating even more.
Mind you, for us aware enough of the issues to be on FT, it probably helps. The more complex it gets, the better it gets for those of us (1) aware of the details and (2) able to navigate through them.
