I'm a real big fan of the Microsoft Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse. I've had two (I trashed the first one), and have never replaced the battery in the thing. It fits in the palm of my hand and is genreally slick the way they package it.
I can't speak for the later generations of it, but they do still sell the original one.
