A can of coke cost $1.50 at Siem Reap Airport which was rip-off enough considering that it cost the equivalent of about 30 cents in the street. However, the airport kiosk would not accept Cambodian currency- only US Dollars. Unfortunately, only Dollar bills were in circulation in Cambodia which meant I would have to forego my 50 cents change. Handily, a packet of chewing gum cost 50 cents so I sort of got my money's worth.
